The Doctrine of Spirituality vs. Carnality
Doctrine of Operation Z – How a Believer Learns Bible Doctrine (cont’d)
Summary
There are four stages to learning, believing and applying Bible doctrine called “Operation Z.” In stage one, the pastor communicates accurate Bible doctrine to his congregation. In stage two, the Holy Spirit teaches this doctrine to the human spirit of believers. In stage three, the Holy Spirit transfers the doctrine from the human spirit to the mind of the believer. In stage four, the Holy Spirit converts mere academic doctrine into full spiritual knowledge in the stream of consciousness of the believer when the believer believes the doctrine. Therefore, Operation Z is a ministry of God the Holy Spirit to Church Age believers who are positive toward Bible doctrine and filled with the Holy Spirit.
The primary role of the pastor in the local church is to study and communicate the mystery doctrine of the Church Age, bringing in other passages of Scripture from the Old and New Testament as he teaches. His authority is a spiritual authority given to him by God the Holy Spirit as a spiritual gift at salvation. Preparation and study are required in order to accurately interpret and teach the Word of God under the filling of the Holy Spirit.
The primary role of believers in the local church is to learn, believe and apply Bible doctrine to their lives. This is accomplished by consistent exposure to the accurate teaching of the Word of God by a man with the spiritual gift of pastor-teacher. Learning Bible doctrine requires the filling of the Holy Spirit, concentration, poise, respect for others and a positive attitude toward the teacher and what is being taught. As a believer hears the pastor communicate accurate Bible doctrine, this spiritual information is being taught to the human spirit of the positive believer by God the Holy Spirit.
Once the Holy Spirit teaches this doctrine to a believer’s human spirit, He automatically transfers that information into the soul (mind) of the believer. This doctrinal information stays in the mind of the believer as academic knowledge until he applies his faith to the doctrine by saying, “I believe it.” When the believer believes what he has been taught, God the Holy Spirit converts that doctrinal information into spiritual, useable information so it can be applied in the life of the believer by means of metabolized doctrine. Therefore, the execution of the Protocol Plan of God and spiritual growth depend on the application of metabolized Church Age doctrine.
The advance from spiritual babyhood to spiritual maturity is achieved only by means of applied metabolized Bible doctrine. Application of Bible doctrine occurs in the mentality of the soul where Bible doctrine is stored in the stream of consciousness. The seven compartments of the stream of consciousness and the Problem-Solving Devices formed as a FLOT line are all resident in the soul of the believer who has metabolized doctrine. Metabolization means that a believer has learned and believed the accurate Bible doctrine he has studied under the ministry of his pastor-teacher and the mentorship of the Holy Spirit. Metabolized Bible doctrine is the only doctrine that can be applied. Application of metabolized Bible doctrine is called wisdom in the Word of God. Glorification of God depends upon metabolized doctrine and wisdom. This is the only way we can grow spiritually and fulfill God’s plan, purpose, and will for our lives.
Since you are your own royal priest, you must learn Bible doctrine in order to solve your own problems, as God designed you. But this first requires having Bible doctrine stored in your stream of consciousness. You must have an inventory of Bible doctrine to meet every circumstance of life. Bottom line: making Bible doctrine the number one priority in your life is of utmost importance.
Scriptural Documentation
I Corinthians 2:4-16 in Pastor R.B. Thieme’s corrected translation, “Both my doctrine and my preaching were not in the persuasive words of wisdom [rationalism and empiricism methods] but in a demonstration of the Spirit and His omnipotence, that your faith should not stand in the wisdom of man [based on human I.Q.] but in the power of God. Yet we speak wisdom among those who are mature [winners], a wisdom however not of this age nor of the leaders of this world who are fading out. But we communicate wisdom from God in a mystery, which has been concealed, which God pre-designed before the ages for our glory; [the wisdom] which none of the rulers of this world have understood, for if they had understood [but they didn’t], they would not have crucified the Lord of Glory [a title for Christ as the Shekinah glory]. But as it stands written [Isaiah 64:4, Isaiah 65:17], `Things which the eye has not seen, and the ear has not heard [empiricism]’ and has not entered into the stream of consciousness of mankind [rationalism], what things God has prepared for those who love Him.’ But to us God has revealed them through the Spirit; for the [human] spirit investigates all things, even the deep things of God. For who among mankind understands the things of mankind except the soul which is in him? Even so the things of God no one has known, except the Spirit of God. Now we have not received the world’s frame of reference [the human I.Q. for perception], but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been graciously given to us by God. Which things we also communicate, by teaching doctrine not from the source of man’s wisdom, but by the teaching of the Spirit, explaining spiritual truth with spiritual vocabulary. But the man without a human spirit does not receive [accept] spiritual information from the Spirit of God, for to him it is foolishness; furthermore, he is not able to understand [spiritual information] because it is [spiritually] discerned in a manner caused by the filling of the Spirit. But the spiritual man discerns all things, but he himself is discerned by no one. [Your real spiritual status is known only by you and the Lord; you are not subject to investigation by other believers; privacy of the priesthood.] For who has known the thinking of the Lord that he should instruct Him? [quote from Isaiah 40:13] But we have the thinking of Christ [Bible doctrine].”
